Alfonso is first seen when Ai delivers the five hundred pies. Soon after they meet, Yu, the kid ninja that sometimes comes to the Animal Village, chases a butterfly with his net. He is Alfonso's friend. Alfonso runs back into his house to get his net to chase after the insect with him.
