As a child she was hiding in the middle of a fight alongside her parents, and their enemies threw a grenade which resulted in her losing half of her body. Later Ernesta Kühne gave her half the body of an automaton, and as a result Camilla swore to give half her life to Ernesta Kühne, as only half of her life was now fully hers and not that of a robot.
