Goshinki has the ability to sense the thoughts of others, which enables him to outmaneuver Inuyasha and break Tessaiga by biting it; however, breaking Tessaiga caused Inuyasha to transform into his berserk youkai state, after which Goshinki could no longer read his thoughts, and Inuyasha killed him.
