Sophocles's father is a recurring character who first appeared in SM019. He lives in a house in Hau'oli City together with his wife and son. Sophocles brought Ash home with him and introduced him to his parents. He appeared again in SM024 where he and his wife visited Sophocles at the Pokémon School as part of the Visiting Day.
