Ookami owns the Souma Hot Springs and is the mother of Ritsu Souma, the monkey spirit. Like her child, she has a weak constitution and apologizes profusely for almost any minor mishap. Unlike many parents of cursed Soumas, Ookami is fond of her child and asks Tooru to befriend him. She is also fond of the other Zodiac members who visit the hot springs.
