The leader of student council and Kate's upperclassman. She is a polite, refined, lady-like young woman with a strong authoritative air about her. She usually has the final word in disputes amongst the council. Paula has a keen interest in Kate, and it is speculated that she is in love with her, though she gracefully understands and accepts that Kate's feelings for her cannot become more than platonic.
