Ookubi (lit. giant severed head) is a youkai that appears in the 1971, 1985 and the 1996 anime version of "GeGeGe no Kitarou." He is accompanied by Hone-Onna in a plan to sacrifice canned souls into Mt. Fuji's volcanic core for an eruption. (Source: GeGeGe no Kitarou Wiki)
