Tseng is the stern, no-nonsense, and sometimes temperamental leader of the Turks. In Final Fantasy VII, he is brutally injured (but not killed) by Sephiroth while investigating the Temple of the Ancients. Like the other Turks, he returns in Advent Children, wherein he and Elena retrieve Jenova's remains from the Northern Cave before being attacked, and subsequently tortured, by Kadaj's gang.
