Ricard Nouveau is an A-class Pokémon Connoisseur and a character of the day who appeared in Clash of the Connoisseurs! (BW080). He was chosen along with Cilan by Mr. Hatterly to help choose a Pokémon for his daughter Marigold. Ricard believed that the perfect Pokémon for her would be Petilil because of its scent and cuteness.
