Marcel was one of the homeless children who lived with Gaspard. He used to sell newspapers in the streets of Paris. Marcel also became Remi's friend. Like Remi, he is also an animal lover. In episode 16 of the anime series, Marcel found a lost white kitten while returning home from work.
